It has only taken 25+ years for the military to realize their mistake replacing the 1911 with the Beretta 92's.

The 1911 has been around a long time. I trained with it in the Marine Corps. I loved that weapon. I think its a great choice for the Corps. Although I think SNCO's and officers should be presented one to use throughout their career.
Nothing better then knowing your weapon, inside and out.
