Martinsville Sportsmans Conservation Club closed today Mon 4 20 15

Due to recent flooding of Indian Creek that runs along our range access road, we are having some serious erosion repaired today to avoid losing our road to rushing water. Contractor and heavy equipment are at work on the range road now, so it is highly recommended you do NOT come out to shoot today. I spoke with contractor this morning and he thought he would finish up today and road would be accessible by Tues.

It is lightly raining today, so probably few if any shooters would show up, but this is a safety matter that must take precedence.

Our range road was safely restored on Monday 4/20...took 13 tri-ax loads of large rip rap stone to rebuild the section weakened by floodwaters, but all is well now and club is open for use as of today Tuesday 4/21.
