    ****, meet fan.

And this, in the cradle of the Revolution. Tyranny if there ever was.

What next when this proves feckless as any other AWB before it?

Just remember, no one is coming for your guns. I mean they'll outlaw the most popular ones, incrementally ban magazines of different capacities, have approved lists of what you can buy (so evil Glock 19s in FDE cannot be sold, but all black Glock 19s are good to go), ban rifles based on cosmetic features, place taxes on ammunition, require a background check on any transfer of a firearm (even between two people at the range, or crossing an obstacle while hunting), require separate ID cards to buy ammunition, push gun stores out of business, attempt to pass laws to prevent children learning how to safely handle a firearm, ignore the EPA and claim that ranges are polluting ground water, mandate training but make it all but impossible to obtain, place a poll tax on the exercise of your rights, ban firearm ownership by those who need assistance managing their personal finances, demand the ability to strip you of your rights by placing you on a secret government list with no hope of due process, and demand mandatory confiscation under a "buy back" program (in spite of the fact that the state never owned these guns to begin with) that pays 1/10th of the value of the firearm. But no one is coming for your guns.

Shot heard 'round the world II will not be pretty. Personally I don't believe it will ever happen as the sheep are willing to give the pasture over to the wolves as long as the wolves promise security... uhuh.

So what happens when mass shootings still occur after this ban takes place..? We all know that guns are guns and humans are needed to pull the trigger to the guns.

Those in power in MA will decide that their unilateral power play was not successful because of the Evil NRA, and that like California they need yet more common sense gun control measures that will do nothing but criminalize and inconvenience the otherwise law abiding while having no discernible effect on criminals.

Its a state that has always had these view on firearms. They have maintained the top 5 most strict firearms law makers for a long time. It doesn't surprise me.

If a gun’s operating system is essentially the same as that of a banned weapon, or if the gun has components that are interchangeable with those of a banned weapon, it’s a “copy” or “duplicate,” and it is illegal.

Silly AG. Neccesity is the mother of invention. All they're doing is supplying the specifications for what is still legal. I suppose it's debatable how much effort a manufacturer will put into developing a product that satisfies these requirements for such a small market but I'll bet somebody does.

Why the hell doesn't the AG say "If we think it looks scary then it's illegal"?
