Unarmed, of course? I didn't think anyone in Chicagoland was allowed to have guns, so what is he afraid of?

That hypocrite crime boss who portrayed a mayor for so long should be forced to just go around as his own man, unarmed, by himself, JUST like he says everybody else has to.

I don't understand why he would think he needs protection. After all he banned firearms in Chicago, so it must be the safest city in the world!

Maybe if he was forced to walk around like the rest of the disarmed honest people of Chicago, he might understand why the right of the people to keep and bear arms should not be infringed!!!!

I really can't believe such a request would even be considered. The 2 vehicles are especially ridiculous. Hasn't he socked away enough kickbacks over the last 20 years to get these things on his own?

That swine can have bodyguards if he pays for them, and since guns are illegal, he may arm them with sticks and body odor.

Though, it's sad, he probably will get a security detail..
