American news is utterly worthless anymore.

We are winning in the polls for gun control if you look at them. 80/90% say back off.
To have evidence of one person being saved by a law abiding citizen with a handgun would really turn over the apple cart.

The media SHOULD be about reporting news free of bias. What they are about instead is making MONEY. So they print the stories that are the most radical/scary/bad/shocking in order to get the biggest reaction out of people who might take the time to read/look at the report. So good guy stopping bad guy isnt news. Yet bad guy killing numbers of people always remains headline news.

I always try and push these stories on friends or anybody that will listen to them because this is the kind of news that NEEDS to be heard by others. Instead of all the news about only the bad guys out there.

It seems that liberal powers have taken over the media and Hollywood . Weather is the media or some celeb seems like all the see is one side of things and not look at what is really happening in our country. They do not want to promote stories that hurt there agenda

The news outlets are controlled by the liberals. It is almost like we are in a near communist state. As the media only wants us to view and hear what the liberals want us to see and hear. This is very similar to what happens in communist nations. Not surprising by any means.

Not surprising as this is just another example of the liberal media's attempt to reshape America. News by nature has a way of exploiting horrific events in such a way as to twist the facts to meet their own agenda. Therefore there would be no sense in promoting something in direct conflict with said agenda. I'm pretty sure at some point in time the news media was in place to actually report news not make the news.

Student killed one teacher at graduation dance at nearby restaurant. Apprehended by armed restaurant owner 11 minutes before police arrived. No further casualties.

Appalachian School of Law, 2002
Student kills two teachers and one student. Apprehended by two armed students before police arrived. No further casualties.

New Life Church, 2007
Gunman killed two people. Armed church member shot and wounded gunman, who then fatally shot himself. No further casualties.

Trolley Square Shopping Mall, 2007
Gunman killed five people. Cornered by armed mall patron until police arrived and shot gunman dead. No further casualties.

Destiny Christian Center, 2012
Gunman killed one person. Armed church member shot and killed gunmen. No further casualties.

Clackamas Mall, 2012
Gunman kills two people. Armed mall patron "aimed" at shooter, gunman then kills himself. No further casualites.

Very little, if any national media coverage on a legaly armed citizen saving lives. Truely sad state of the media.

The media is nothing but a bunch of brain washers. They make certain you know all the bad, horrific details of some nuts but don't want to promote the persons who stopped a nut from progressing to next level. Ted Nugent says it best. Check out his interview on you tube about gun control. One of my favorite lines of his is " I don't believe in repeat offender I believe in dead offenders" wake up America...........
