That is a big suck part of this situation as well...........

New nuke plants will be mothballed.

Now the the obama admin has stated he will "not allow" new coal fired
power plants to be built......... (actually he said you COULD build them
but he would make it so expensive that you would never turn a profit
and be heavily regulated) where are we going to get new sources
of energy for a growing economy?????.............

Wait, this won't be used for political advantage over here or 'CHANGE'
how we are supposed to live under the leftists will it?

NEW evidence of the meltdown's possible cause.

The attack on the coal industry as a part of energy policy I will never understand. It's mined in the US, by Americans, who haul the coal as well.

The solar and wind mill people take tax money to start companies that build an expensive generation technology in china and europe. I'm not saying that you shouldn't look at new tech in generation but beating up coal is absurd.

They must not have very good lobbiests in dc.

100 REM/hr at the front gate a little earlier. Noooooo, this was impossible. They said it could never happen at Fukushima. If it was 100 REM/hr and they abandoned the plant I wonder what radiation levels were near the reactors? This is already on a Chernobyl scale.

Where did 100 REM come from? I read 150 microsevierts/hr which is about .015 REM/hr. Do you have a source article link?

I read it too, in one of Yahoo's news links. I'll see if I can still find it later, as I don't remember the source of the statement.
