Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Alex was a one of a kind. It just all seems so unreal. He lived several years beyond his diagnosis, so I'm very thankful for the extra time. Hug your kids for me.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Be grateful for the years you did have with him and the fond memories. I've been in your shoes, lost our son (Epsylum on this board) in 2008. All I can say is that while the pain never goes away, it does get better with time. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk.
