    Not sure where to post this but I thought it would be cool to remember my family members who served our country (some of whom paid the ultimate price) here on INGO this memorial day! Please post the hero's in your families!
    I loving memory for those no longer with us and in honor of those still here:
    My grandpa John - US Army WW1 - Europe
    My dad - US Navy Mine Sweeper - Pacific Theatre WW2
    My father in law - Don- US Army - Pacific theater/Occupation of Japan - Purple Heart
    My uncle Ralph - US Army - Europe WW2 - Battle of Bulge - Silver Star - purple Heart
    My brother in law - Chuck - US Navy - peacetime
    My nephew Joe - US Army - headed to Croatia this week - God protect him.
    The following are 5 brothers who served from my wifes family in WW2 (3 KIA)
    My wife's foster dad Everett - US Army - N. Africa/Italy WW2
    My wife's Uncle John - US Army - Europe - KIA
    My wife's Uncle William - US Army - N-Africa - KIA
    My wife's Uncle James - US Army - Europe - KIA
    My wife's Uncle Joel - US Army - - Europe
    And Finally - all the mothers, daughters, sons and wives of the men above who's sacrafice should never be forgotten as well. God Bless you all!

    Sadly my Grandfather on my mothers side died before I was born and my Grandfather on my fathers side never talked about any events before his death in 1975.

    My Flag went to half mast at 12:01AM this morning in memory off all who have served and gave their life and will return to full mast @ 12:00pm in about 15 minutes).
    As usual I played a tape recording of taps in honor just loud enough this morning @ 8am for myself and wife to hear. I don't know how my neighbors would react to a full volume version.:patriot:

    I am not going to list all the Members of my Family that have gone to War for this Great Nation of Ours. I will say that there has been Members of every Generation of my Family in every War that has been fought for America, even some who fought here before there was an America...
