Bike was purchased new in 2005 for my 14th birthday present. I've since outgrown it. If I had to guess, I'd say it probably has about 2,500 miles on it.
Original plastic pedals broke 6-12-2010 and were upgraded to metal ones at Greenway 500 Bike shop in Medford, IN (no clue if they are still in business)
Has a couple of significant dents in the wheels (one each) from where I accidentally ramped a flight of stairs at 25 mph. Wheels will need replaced most likely. Other cosmetic damage from being laid down or over-ended a couple times.
Despite all the cosmetic damage and the wheels, I've taken pretty good care of this bike as far as servicing it regularly. Usually stored inside
It's a 21-speed, with cantilever brakes, not disc brakes. All gears and brakes operate well.
