Metro arms 1911's.

Anyone have any experience with these? Wondering as you get more "stuff" For around the same cost as an RIA.

Before you tell me to save up, at or around $500 is my allowed amount to spend and these look pretty solid. I'm looking at the commander length btw.

I have the Commander and I love it. The only things I changed were the grips and the recoil spring, as the original spring was a little weak. I have only taken it out once, but I put 200 rounds of WWB, Federal FMJ and Winchester Bonded JHPs through it without a single hiccup. All 200 rounds were fired as fast as I could reload the mags, so the gun had little time to cool down.

I am very satisfied so far. I like this gun better than the RIA I used to own, though the Rock was a good shooter.
