Just stopped here ccing as usual and saw the rules posted at the entrance... did not see a single word about firearms. Win. I just may have to come out this way more often
    BTW, not a Simon property.

I havent ever payed attention the few times I have been to the malls in Anderson or Muncie, though I think they are both Simon malls, and I am sure I am breaking their rules. I keep it concealed, and have never had any issue.
On a side note, I did look for signs at the BW3s the last time I was at the one in Muncie, and the only sign I noticed was the one stating that it was privately owned, nothing about firearms.

    Concealed means concealed.

I'm not about to rely on mall "security" for the protection of my family or myself.

    Only an idiot would.

I carried there about a month ago. I never even thought to look for a sign that said no firearms. I was much more interested in the good looking girls that were there.

I looked when we took the kids to see Santa, prior to finding INGO I never paid attention to the signs in any mall. I also find it kind of funny that while I was in Dick's with my sig concealed nicely in my waistband there was a guy getting escorted out with his new shotgun, I guess it's store policy that the employee walks with you to the door and hands you the gun there?

IF i am carrying concealed why would I even look for any signs :dunno:.
If I am open carrying I can always leave if they ask me to.

All Simon Malls have a very strict "victims-only" policy. If you are better armed than their security, you get the boot.

I don't think the mall in Terre Haute is a Simon property.

I don't believe Metropolis Mall could ask you to leave anyway. As far as I know, it's all public property. It's basically a giant strip mall with stores on each side. Since you are not indoors, that makes me believe it's public property and not truly private property. After they are closed, I can still walk around without being arrested for trespassing. Then again, IANAL and IDSAAHILN but that's just my opinion.

I was at metropolis last Monday for family pictures and my gun was visible for the pictures and no one batted and eye.

Plainfield PD actually has a station there behind ****box Pizza but they do have Paul Blart & Co patrolling around. It's not technically public property like you are thinking there, lifestyle centers like Metropolis and Clay Terrace are just a different kind of mall, there's regular office business' there and I've been too a couple that have apartments but the property is all managed by the REIT. When Chris White got his tit in the wringer there was talk Metropolis was going to fold up under bankruptcy which would have closed that whole property.
