From my old 1st Sgt. 2/504 PIR, Top Jones, who had 3 tours w/ 1st Air Cav and 101st in Vietnam:
"Overvoll, hit him in the throat, not the face."
"Won't be the FIRST MF'er I Killed!"
"Look at you men! You got the faces of lions, like King David's men. Go kill something!"
Thirty years from now, when you're sitting around your fireside with your grandson on your knee and he asks you, "What did you do in the great World War II," you won't have to say, "Well... I shoveled **** in Louisiana."
Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country"
Both by Patton
Like this one too
"Nothing comes close to having your hands raised when you're not supposed to. When its not supposed to be. It's defiance. There's nothing sweeter than defiance."
Ray Leonard
1. I am the War Lord and the wrathful God of Combat and I will always lead you from the front, not the rear.
2. I will treat you all alike - just like sh**.
3. Thou shalt do nothing I will not do first, and thus will you be created Warriors in My deadly image.
4. I shall punish thy bodies because the more though sweatest in training, the less thou bleedest in combat.
5. Indeed, if thou hurteth in thy efforts and thou suffer painful dings, then thou art Doing it Right.
6. Thou hast not to like it thou hast just to do it.
7. Thou shalt Keep it Simple, Stupid.
8. Thou shalt never assume.
9. Verily, thou art not paid for thy methods, but for thy results, by which meaneth thou shalt kill thine enemy by any means available before he killeth you.
10. Thou shalt, in the Warriors Mind and Soul, always remember My ultimate and final Commandment:
[FONT="]War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself

Self determination guides me and God given rights grant me the mindset that I decide what happens to me, not outside forces which I can quell thanks to my God given talents.
O Lord, who may stay in your tent? Who may live on your mountain?
The one who walks with integrity, does what is righteous, and speaks the truth within his heart. The one who does not slander with his tongue, do evil to a freind, or bring disgrace on his neighbor. The one who despises those rejected by God but honors those those who fear the Lord. The one who makes a promise and does not break it, even though he is hurt by it. The one who does no collect interest on a loan or take a bribe against an innocent person. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.
Clint Smith (Thunder Ranch) was being interviewed in 2001 by CBS's 60 Minutes. The topic of police snipers was being discussed. He was asked if the money being used to train snipers could be put to better use in training police hostage negotiators or something similar. His response ....
"Some people just need to be shot."
TR used to sell the shirt but it's not available anymore ... that I can find. The other shirt they used to sell had another good quote (also from Clint Smith) ...
"If you're not shootin', you should be loadin'. If you're not loadin', you should be movin'. If you're not movin', someone's gonna cut your head off and put it on a stick."
