    Hello,
Unless I am mistaken, the picatinny version of the Magpul AFG is legal to be mounted on an AR pistol, no matter the OAL of said pistol.
Now what about the MLOK version of the AFG? Totally different design.
Did the doofus at the ATF decide something about it?
I got one for free lately and I am considering buying an AR pistol, hence the question.
    Thank you!

That was my understanding. But since the BCM KAG is illegal (again if I am correct), and since the MLOK version of the AFG is somehow similar to the KAG, I was wondering.
