Muzzle high? Well, we’re gonna have to give her the benefit of the doubt that she knows more about the impact fan than we do.


...so what’s the problem here? It’s a controlled range, and she’s the only shooter, videoing something semi-technical.

Now let’s just extrapolate a touch:

Even if she DID mean to clear it—for the sake of argument—Contrary to popular belief, hot reloads will not turn the shooter and videographer into a ball of sparks. That’s strictly a competition influence on civilian mindsets, in my opinion, not a practical one. If you always train to run the gun dry before reloading, someday, it might gitcha kilt.

Reload when you can, not when you have to.

She was religiously clearing as would I is the difference.
And she was surprised she left it hot. That was my point.

Yes she has spotless muzzle control and trigger discipline. No issues at all. But she left it hot and was not aware. That was my point. If I am showing something operational I lock the bolt open but thats just me I guess.

No one was shot in the posting of this response.....

Just an "Observation" man and a real one at that. She was visually shocked when the live one cleared.
Thats not what she intended to do and possibly a good example that we are not flawless.
So just let it go OK.
