where is a good place to buy the spam can 7.62X54r ammo I use to see it all the time but now I want a M44 it seems the ammo is not as easy to find as it use to be... So, anyone have any ideas? Thanks

It's not the spam cans but if you want non-corrosive Walmart usually has Tula for about $12 for 20. I shoot the corrosive every now and then but when I shoot it with the suppressor I only shoot non-corrosive.
I see spam cans every now and then at the shows and I know the user Woody131 most always has some for sale.

Now that imports of the guns and ammo has stopped you don't see as much of the old surplus as you use to and when you do its a little pricy for what it is. Just buy some of the new productions stuff like the Tula or Red Army the stuff shoots good and its not corrosive....

I never thought about Wal mart selling it they are usually pretty cheap on ammo when they have it in stock....

Don't forget Ganger Mountain, Cabela's for new and Bradis, and of course local gun shows if you looking for surplus stuff
