I recently purchased my first mosin and I need to check my headspace for safety and peace of mind. Does anyone have any I could borrow for a few seconds to make sure I'm good to go?

Is there some obvious reason you suspect the head-space to be off?
Will the bolt close, with relative ease, with a round in the chamber?

That's typical Mosin behavior. I'll probably get flamed for this but I'll say it anyway. Headspace on a rimmed cartridge is relatively unimportant. Even if its way out of spec, its very unlikely to cause any problems with new ammo. If you reload rimmed cases, bad headspace will cause problems but that can be eliminated by setting your sizing die so the reloaded rounds headspace off the shoulder and not the rim. My dad has a 30-40 Krag with known bad headspace, he sizes his cases that way and gets 12-15 reloads per.
