I'm sure you all already know about it, but MC Sports here in B-ton is selling Century Int'l Mosin Nagant 91/30's (7.62x54r) for $79.99 "new" in box, still in the cosmo from what I saw.

AIM: $69.95 + $15.19 shipping (to my town) + $15-20 transfer fee (if you don't have C&R license) = $85.14-105.14
MC Sports: $79.95 + $5.60 tax = $85.55

AIM is only cheaper if you have a C&R license, otherwise MC Sports would be cheaper. Plus the guys in Bloomington are great. Stop by when they are slow and you may even get your pick of several fine rifles. I managed to pick up a 1927 Izzy with all matching numbers and a 1927 Tula with a force matched floor plate (both in great condition and with hex receivers of course) with my method. Hopefully I will get a few more as time & finances allow.

I picked up one from MC Sports last week. You can also pay an extra $10 and they'll cherry pick you a better looking one, at least at the one in Muncie. I didn't bother with that, I'm not buying a Mosin to put it in a beauty contest.

A lot of places have them in the crate and you can pick the one you want yourself. At no extra charge.

I just bought a Mosin Nagant here in Lima. He said it was their last one for $79.99. They had two others on display; one for $99.99, and one for $109.99, and I'm guessing they had more of those in the back. But to be honest, of the three on display, I think the $79.99 one I bought was in the best shape. Anyway, for $85.19 out the door I am not complaining!

Yeah, that's pretty much the way I've seen it, too. None of the shops around me charge extra for cherry picking. What do they do, keep the best ones in the back?
