Mosins at MC Sports in Bloomington?

Last time I was in MC Sports-they had Mosin 91/30's for $99. Has anyone been in there lately and seen any? Bradis had some decent ones for $119 last week. Just wondering who has them and what price? Ready to join the club after talking my buddy into getting one-he loves his.

Just bought a 1933 hex receiver from Bradis for 150.

Bradis had a good selection-from $99up. The $119variety looked ok to me. $99 variety-not quite so good-stocks were kinda dark and ugly.IMHO.Probably go back and pick up one tomorrow. Are the hex really worth the extra?

Depends on what you want. Up until 1936 or so, you can find hex receivers. After that, you will only find round receivers.

I've got a Tula 1932 Hex. Besides the reciever, the serial numbers are electropenciled. But Mosin Nagants aren't "collector" guns to me so I don't care.

The hex receivers are a little older and harder to come by from what I have read. Mine was in great shape had a unique serial, and turns out to be a little older than at first thought. There is a Tula stamp on my receiver which show pre 1928 with a Izhevsk stamped barrel from 1933.
