Mosins fair price

What’s a fair price on a mosin I seen a few shortys for sale 5-600 I thought it was a little steep any opinions?

Seems high to me but everything has gone up. Its just what market will bear. Ones I have seen priced at 300 to 400 seem to sell fast.

Wow! I remember buying the M44 for $59 +tax. Bought two for my nephews. They still have them, and some CZ silver tip ammunition.

Same here my parents bought me a m44 for my 13th birthday they paid $59.99. I about fell out my chair when I looked them up and saw they're going for $400

What I’d pay (just a opinionated dataset had I not already stocked up on them)
Chinese Mosin = $150 or less
91/30 Round receiver = $200
M44 = $300
Square receiver = $350-$400
Square receiver with some good history marks = $400-$450…
Finnish Mosin = $450+
Sneak Mosin = $400+
PPU with accessories = $700+
Finnish SOV = $1500+
