I have a tactical Mossberg 500, extended mag tube, parkerized, synthetic, nothing special, but it only has one sling mount on the front, so I'll need a sling that has the attachment that wraps around the stock. I have a single point sling, but the 500 has no clip ring or anything. Would I be better off just buying a clip? What are my tactical sling options? Thanks!

GG&G makes single point sling attachment points that go between the stock and receiver. That is probably the best option for "tactical"

You can attach a sling swivel to the end of the buttstock but that isn't very tactical.

I honestly don't use a sling on my shotgun, it gets in the way. If my shotgun is on me there is a reason for it. If I ever needed to transition to my pistol I could hold the forend with my support hand and draw and fire away with the pistol. IMO slings just get in the way on shotguns, esp home defense shotguns.
