    Took advantage of the 50 degree day yesterday. A little windy but had a good ride. Then topped off the tank and put a good dose of seafoam in the fuel, changed the oil, detailed her, plugged in the battery tender and covered her up.
    Sad day my friend...
    Same seasonal prep here too, but I also modify the insurance coverage on the bike & Firebird to what my agent calls "storage mode". Saves a few more dollars for ammo if I'm not driving them.

    Still catching up on this thread.

    I've been riding on the same Dunlop Elites for like 12 years. I guess I've been exceedingly lucky, they are still in good shape except for the lack of tread. I know I know. Darn old Yamaha has 16" rims, hard to find good tires in that size. No more Dunlops.

    I do have a fresh set of Yokohama's for it, we'll see how those go next spring.

    Update on my repair: they have no ETA on a frame or a front rim. Apparently they got everything else though.

    I'm hesitant that it will be fixed come spring.
