I just finished reading the book, on which this movie is based. The book is called "The Long Walk" by Downing. It was a great read. BTW, it is the first book that I've read on my Kindle. I love the Kindle and I'll never go back to paper.

After reading the book, I rented the movie at Red Box. I had to did around to find it. My wife thought the movie started out slowly, but got better. I thought that they left out some important parts and added a couple of major things that weren't in the book. I give the book 4 1/2 stars out of five. I give the movie 3 stars.
