So I know some dealers say you don't really need a Form 20 is you got your Form 4s and everything, and Form 20s are only mandatory for machine guns. I filled one out anyways when I moved into Indiana from another state and was wondering...do they update your Form 4? I got my Form 20 back with an approved stamp...is that it!?

That’s it, and you don’t need to do it for suppressors. Any other NFA item you have, you have to have an approved form 5320 to leave your state.

For whatever reason, that rule does not apply to suppressors.
