I picked this guy up on a trade awhile back (bad gamble on my part) and finally took it to the range yesterday and it popped a primer and pushed another one out. The first 40 rounds ran fine, I believe it to be maybe a headspace issue? I'm a lot of things but a gunsmith isn't one. It's built on an Armory USA reciever which were the best of its time. I think the wood, gas tube, and mag release are Chinese and maybe the safety, the rest I have no idea. It was built using a Tapco screw kit so it will be easy to take apart. I also have a mostly complete, I think it's missing one screw, Tapco screw kit that could be used as spare parts. This would be a great project for someone with a set of no go gauges and the tools and resources to adjust the head space. $400, local pickup in Vincennes. Posting it here before it goes to the AKfiles and other national pages (wayyy easier dealing locally).
