Muzzle Brakes for Mosin

Has anyone tried any muzzle brakes for the Mosin or Mosin Carbine?
Found this online today while just surfing the web.

fugly as sin but I wonder if it really works?

a good friend of mine put one on his 91/30 swears by it just make sure you locktite everything down and it is adjusted right so it does not fly off on you like some of the cheaper ones.

I think that archangel kit has a brake too, but I find it difficult to spend $250 to dress up an $80 rifle.

Might take a look at some of this hardware. The reviews seem ok but I have yet to make the purchase yet.

By the looks of the design, it should stay on the rifle and not go down range like all the others I have seen before.
