    No coaching or instruction whatsoever.

    Keep in mind:

    1) She's only 3
    2) She's female
    3) The Silver Eagle was the biggest, shiniest thing she was presented.

    But yes, I like to think she REALLY knows the difference, even though the gold she passed up for the silver has more than a 10x greater value.

    Yes, but it does have intrinsic value as opposed to the other two options. She is on the right path. There is always time for refinement of a correct general idea.

    Of course I could be mistaken. It's been a long time since I've had to carry on a conversation en francais. A long long time...
