Not as good a deal as some have posted but I did pick a Astra A75 9mm for $100. It will fire anything you put through it.

I paid $1000.00 for a Smith & Wesson .357 Registerd Magnum in factory nickel.
"Not that great of a deal" you say? Look it up. S & W only made 5.500 Registerd Magnums in the 1930's and only 170 in nickel. The condition is easily 95%-98%.
I also bought an L.C. Smith featherweight 20 ga double in 90-95% for $200.00. I have been offered $1500 sight unseen from a man in California.
Then there was the vintage BB gun I bought for $100 and sold for $1313.88 on GunBroker.

S&W ASP bought on gunbroker for $705 sold one week later on gunbroker for $3200. I only found it and researched the value after reading a post on INGO questioning if it was real. The profit funded my POF 308 purchase.

When I was still in school in St. Louis (former MO resident), the local Sports Authority was getting out of the gun business just before Christmas. I picked up a brand new Cricket .22 for my nephew for $54 out the door. Tough to beat.

    The 2 S&W Model 15-3's I bought back in 1996...$150 apiece! Police trade-ins...hadn't even been shot....one was a 4" and the other a 2". Oh, and the M1 carbine I bought off a friend for $125...he didn't like guns.

Last gun show I went to, some guy brought an old S&W Model 10 w/ a leather holster that he wanted to sell. He was clearly in a hurry (Colts game started in another hour), and he didn't like the offer a dealer made on it. A minute later I offered him $15 more than the dealer, and he took it.
Strapped it to my belt, and just went on with my day. About ten minutes later, some other guy walked up to me and offered me $35 more than I'd paid for it. Another .38 revolver hadn't been my goal for the day, so I let it go.

I wish I could make money like that more often. :D

LNIB HK USPC .357Sig w/ Factory Box, manual, 2 Mags for $400 on GB. The listing was misspelled. They misspelled Heckler Koch. I was the only bidder.

Thought I got a good deal anyway...

A like-new Norinco 1911 for $200 back in 1993. I think they were going for about $300 new back then. I still have it.

    I paid about $200 for a pristine 1972 Marlin 336C in 30-30.

Early Winchester Model 67 and about 5000 rounds of .22 ammo for the princely sum of $16. Yard sale find, they thought it was a bb gun and that the ammo was junk. Most of the ammo was collector items and I sold it for enough to buy a new Yugo 59/66 and a case of Wolf. :D
