I am also working on a custom 10/22. I just picked up the rifle and scope Friday and am waiting on parts to start arriving.

I plan on shooting at some of the matches at Old Trails in Richmond.

It started out as this:

The barrel is this Tactical Solutions model:

A friend of mine took the oem wood stock and did what you see in the pictures. I made the sight base. It is aluminum bar stock milled down to .500"x.820"x10" and a 1" radius on the bottom to fit the top of the receiver. Then I drilled and tapped it for mounting the C-More.

I am up for it. Shooter and I were talking about that at work the other day. I think I am definately doing the 10/22 thing this month. I am sure that 40calpunisher will like to join in also.

lets up the ante and include .22 pistols maybe a little wager.

MY bad I thought this was unorganized shoot, sounds more like organized, league or sanctioned type of competion. I was thinking some kind of informal shoot that involved 22 rifle and pistol combo course of fire.
