It's one of those 20th century flip phones, often confused by the hipper crowd as 'the stapler.' This morn I found the golden/poodle pup had separated the back and chewed it a bit. The battery was missing and the front had some scrape marks. I noticed if I held her muzzle and touched her tail i would get a shock. I wonder if she'll answer to bluetooth? Later in the day I found the battery, but it was beyond function. I had a backup and was able activate it. The chewed one fires up with an old battery. I may try to find a back for it at the Verizon store. "Excuse me, my puppy wants to know if these come in any other flavors." My older backup has fewer shortcuts, the space bar is sluggish, but it texts better. And it's all black and hipper than the chewed silver version. Musta fell out of my pocket into the sofa and that's her bed.

I get replacement batteries all the time on ebay, a few bux each, even for an iphone, plus I have the tools for the apple crap. Flip phones are nothin. I'm proud to claim credit for the "uncoiled rice" meme on INGO, but yeah, if it's dry, definitely needs some Dickens Cider.

That's the one that I rock.

I had dropped my previous phone and it got stepped on. Broke the little outside LCD screen, the camera, and the inside LCD screen. Went on Ebay and bought a used one for 20 bucks, then took them both apart and swapped the damaged parts. That phone lasted me another few years after that. If I were you, I'd be more worried that the dog might have swallowed the missing battery.

I've done the part swapping thing, too, but actually had the dog eat my son's phone, or at least chew it until it was no longer functional.
