Hit the pond in the neighborhood down the street today. Only had about an hour but couldn't resist cause it was such a nice day today. Threw on a suspending jerk bait and started working nice and slow. Only took about ten casts and boom, my first bass of the year. Ended up with about 6-7 in the hour I was there. The biggest of the bunch only went mabey 2lbs. Sure was nice to get a line wet and feel that tug though. Got me all hyped up now and I guess with 50's in the forecast all week I guess I'm gonna have to get the boat out of storage early this year and get at it. Anyway here are a few pics from the pond today.

I think I am going to start carrying a pole in my jeep. Maybe go fishing during my lunch break at school. Anyone know good spots in kokomo?

Thanks guys. My dad was out on Thursday before the front moved through and got 2 bass over 23" one going 25.5". The bigger one was a big female and was an easy 6.5lbs for sure. The other was around 5lbs.
