my first sbr...form 1 question:length % do i need anything else?

i have all the suppressors (where i got them filled out the paperwork) so now time to sbr a sig p556. length is the question, 10" barrel but overall do they want the folded (shortest) or 21" or with the stock out (side folder stock going on it) collapsed 29 1/2"? so basic pistol size (as it is now as the stock will fold over the side) or as a rifle with the stock out (not folded)

and "state why you intend to make the firearm?" to shoot it duhhh, just kidding but collection, personal use?

thanks for any help as i dont want to delay this as i want to do another rifle next (multi cal ar-15 lower maybe???)

do i need any other forms besides the 2 fingerprint cards and the cleo signed paperwork with pics and a $200 check (i remember another form i had to sign for my suppressors but cant remember what it was)

I have always heard to put the longer number (stock extended).

Also, I am putting "All Lawful Purposes" in the reason box.

As funny as those are.... you can get turned down for that. I have one thats "chicks dig SBRs" but that was because I didn't mind having to re-submit it.

Remember, the ATF has NO sense of humor.

if they don't approve and you need to make a change to it, you kill 1 week tops. And that was with Nicki Dudash who is now our favorite government employee!

She was extremely helpful on my last submission.

They might not care, I have seen them approve them without having it, or they may just call you and ask you to mail it to them.
