my infraction

i have been banned from this website for the past week due to my insult directed at red eye jedi....i just wanted to say that i am sorry for breaking ingo's rules. On the other hand, i wanted to point out some things regarding this issue. For starters my "insult" read something like this "red eye jedi....what are u some sort of star wars fan...i bet u sit at home with a taser".....i didnt quote it verbatum here for fear of being banned again, but i used no foul language, though i did substitute the word "fan" for "dork". anyways, i just wanted to say that i know red eye jedi personally, in fact i was the one who told him about ingo. and i do know for a fact that he likes star wars (i do too) and that he has a taser. anyways, im not ranting or complaining(rules are rules)...just thought id try to clear my name a little

Purple is supposed to denote sarcasm. It's not a free pass to insult someone. It is not an excuse for poor behavior and will not get you out of having to answer for it.

I don't think they are necessary encouraged. In fact, I once received an infraction for "airing my dirty laundry." That person is no longer a mod though.
