The right to bar arms is referring to military arms. We are to be allowed to have equal or greater fire power than the government has in order to protect ourselves from tyranny.

We have already been stripped of true military arms which is unconstitutional. Semi-automatic weapons are not military grade and we can not lose these as well. We would be out gunned if government forces turned against us.

The government has nothing to fear so long as it is serving We The People! Gun registration always leads to gun confiscation.

Further more, gun control has been proven not to decrease crime, but rather to increase it since law abiding citizens are stripped of their God given right of protection.

To further build on top of that, to ban weapons in order to save "maybe" one life is completely un-American. Thousands upon thousands died before us so that we and our children could have freedom and the right to defend ourselves. To give up that liberty in order to "maybe" save one life is completely against what we fought for.

Liberty is not free, it also is not yours to take away from us.
