My mailbox door came open, and my license plate stickers got wet, and lost their stickiness.

Can I get them replaced? Or is there a way to glue them? Can I find a waterproof super glue?

I jut called the Indy BMV customer service.

    It's gonna cost me $10 a sticker. That's $30.

    What a crapper.

Send the bill to the Post Office!

Seriously. Call you local Post Master and complain you are out $30 because the carrier didn't shut your box. Even if you get "credit" towards stamps or something, it is better than nothing.

That will only work if the Post office doesnt go out of business. I just read today were they are changing their policies to make their poor customer service just company policy, instead of making excuses to cover their butts.

If you glue them, I'd check em about everytime I went anywhere. It would suck to get pulled over because some stickers fell off

Could always ask a sign guy to print some new ones off.
Not that I've ever done it before, just saying, it is possible....(wink)
    Good luck

I would not even mess with the post office for any reason. Several years ago when they destroyed a birthday present overnited to me by my son from Florida. they refused per one of their stupid policies to repay the $20 or so for overnighting it to me. They eventually paid for the value of the birthday gift, but refused to refund the postage since they had held up their end and got the item to me on time, regardless of the condition. I am sure that they have similarly stupid policies for leaving your mailbox door not securely closed after a delivery. It had to be your fault somehow, someway. Do I carry grudges for crooks? You bet I do.
