i just started getting in this gun thing, but damn glock mags are alot of $$ but forsure want to get some more soon and my next gun will be a ar-15 or a 870

Get some G17 mags for your spare carry mags. Look in the classifieds, "44 Magnum Shooter" has G17 mags for $20. He a good guy to do business with, too.

keep your eyes peeled for mags, they pop up from time to time and they are more reasonable. CDNN is a good place to look

Buy a Sig or a Walther........then you'll know what an expensive mag is

Glock mags are actually on the more "reasonable" side of the spectrum.

CDNN is the best spot to look. Dont be afraid of the "Asian Military" mags, they are fine.

Oh, and you need ammo. A lot more ammo.

really so paying 7 bucks for a mag which is a repo works as fine as a glock made mag?

I assume by "repo" you mean reproduction.

Yes, they work just as fine as a Glock brand mag. I have bought about 10 of them, and one had a small bur. It wasnt effecting feeding, but it bothered me. I took a file to it, and that was that. I wouldnt hesitate to buy more, whether for a Glock or for a M1 Carbine.
