My new 1911

I finally got my hands on a Kimber Raptor. I've been waiting for one of these for what seems like forever. Took it shooting yesterday and she worked just as beautiful. I've had plenty of 1911's but for some reason this one has been calling my name.

No it's one of their standard custom's, just hard to find around here. I only see them from time to time and for some reason always passed on it. After 6 months of that I decided to just get it and then couldn't find one.

I've had 4 or 5 Kimbers but this one just kept bugging at me so I finally got one. I'm very happy with it.

Is that bead blast or polished stainless? Either way great looking weapon, I was just curious what they called it.

I think the Scales are what they were going for with the Raptor name. It feels good whatever they are.
