    I have a SA Combat Blackened Stainless 1911. Finish looks quite similar to your 1911. I agree with what others have said. I would not mess with that finish. Get something else to do it to. Just my :twocents:

    Thanks for the compliments on the Springer. I picked up a Colt Defender this weekend at the fun show along with a Kimber Tactical Custom II. These 1911s are getting addictive! Guess I'm gonna have to start collecting them as well as Berettas.

    I will definitely do that! If you ever get down close to the Ohio river and would like to shoot them too you're more than welcome to.
