Those folders are unique. 2 of mine are set up with the Laws offering. The buffer the stays in the stock and the BCG is held in place by a neat plug. The gun runs in the normal way when the stock is locked into place.

If I ever make to another shoot with you, you'll have to show me.

As a another guy who is infatuated with the MK12 platform, well done!

How did it come out weight wise? I briefly considered putting the thermal on a MK 12 this year, but the weight of it, changed my mind. That, and I've never ordered an AEM5 yet. Only been on my list for about 4 years now.

Still not a light weight rifle but I think the balance is much improved over an 18".

I've always been a massive fan of the original Crane Mk12... You effectively made a perfected general use variant of it.

You should strongly consider making and selling these uppers, as this is one exceptionally fine idea.

    Nice build!

Here's a pic of my Mod 1. The barrel came from HCS and the AEM5 just started it's wait for the stamp to be approved.

Not sure what ammo it'll like best but I hope to find something in the 75gr-77gr range.

262 is 77 grain. If 1:7 (I assume you are), then you should be golden.

I have oodles of 193 so I am still training with it. Even bought buckets of the frangible stuff.

Oh, I bought a mess of those new Army brown mags (in case I stumble across 855 in future) and the new brown mags work just fine with M193 ammo. Worked in all my Colt, SIG, BCM, even that Franken Smith/Armalite thing I have.
