i went to the 4h gun show here in eville yesterday, and bought my first damascus knife, with a burl wood handle, and leather sheath, its got a maker mark in handle (mb) he was out on indy, bub i was on my way out, and didnt get his name or card, i know its not a randal, or ken onion custom, but i think its a pretty cool blade, and for the price, i think its a bargan,i know its not the greatest quality, but its not one of those "indian welded damascus" knives, i bet a dollar to a donut, thats its a mass produced blade, with his wood made handle.

i'll never carry it, but it'll look good in the knife collection

Do they put a heavier tang of steel inside the handle? I've never understood how some knives feel balanced and others don't even if they look the same.

I agree I would use it! Nice one.
