Sucks that you're having problems, but why all the drama? **** happens; plunk down a few bucks for a new hammer from a known-good source and drive on.

I once got a Rock River LPK that had the detent spring missing from inside the base of the hammer (the spring puts tension on the trigger pin, keeping it in place). Rather than call RRA to complain, or try to track the LPK back to whatever dealer I got it from, I just ordered a hammer from PK Firearms and everything was good.

If I ordered a parts kit with a missing/defective part...I'd probably call and get a replacement part. I'd be unhappy if I didn't get what I paid for

Agh. I just remebered I bought the LPK off arfcom. Not a gun show. FML.

Does ar15.com have a way to post feedback, etc? I've only checked out the PA subforum there, so I don't know. If there is a way to do so, I'd utilize it to provide some clear feedback regarding the seller.

I would be concerned about all the parts that I purchased from that seller.

In my PSA kit one of the springs came mangled. I just ordered 2 more springs. PSA has great customer service

I'm not sure if CS has reached you yet, but we took some pictures for you. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you.

Here are the hammers..they are noticeably different.

CS contacted me. I attempted to call them back but they closed up 10-15 minutes early friday.

I am going to try to call them tomorrow during my lunch hour.

    Update:
    Received package from PSA today.
When I opened it, I was surprised that it contained a brand new hammer rather than my old one.

+1 for PSA customer service. They are great !

I was hoping that would be the case. Seems like another great reason to support PSA. When I purchase another AR, they will be the most likely candidate.

Palmetto kicks ass. Everyone screws up sometimes, even though this time wasn't even their fault. It's all about how you handle the screw ups, and they seem to be making good of any bad situations that arise. Good job PSA!
