That is awesome. I've been in an ultralight a few times (highly reccomend). Took our 3 year old daughter in one this summer. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT !! Never had an oppotunity to be in a gyro. Do they make a two seater for pilot and passenger ?

Ok, you definitely have a cool ("summer") toy. I'd like it better if it had fixed wings! So how hard is it to learn the dynamics & control aspects of that? Could you feather it down if you had to? The idea of Rotating wing just freaks the hell out of me, even just riding in it. And you are definitely doing it in the most raw form. Whenever I see one of these, it just freaks me just to look at it. It's like Mad Max or something.

Look at the top of the seat closest to you in line with the vertical beam. Looks like a gas cap to me.

I think you hit it. From the thickness and appearance, it looks like the seat may be hollow, and is the tank.
