Just to be clear, you do know you have "GOLD" there, do you not?
You need to make every effort to get the best quality pictures you can of it and lots of them, inside and out with a very good background setting. Spend time and do it right. BTW don't change a thing on it, keep it stock and clean it carefully. If you can, do a history write up on it with any documentation you can find. You'll be glad you did.
Then post the results here on INGO for all to enjoy.

10mm when you care enough to send the very best.

Even though i'm usually into the more "tacticool" type of stuff, I've always really loved those, and wanted one.
That's a very nice looking example you've got there. Congratulations!

Hold on to it. They are awesome pieces of history.... and you can always throw some hardball in it and fire away if need be.

Nice, nice, nice!!..did I mention that gun is nice? My dad had a Singer Mfg 1911 years ago and sold it to help with hospital bills, and about twenty years ago he traded for a pristene 1911 made in 1915 by Colt, marked US property, sold for about $1500

    WOW

That is exactly what I have in my minds eye when I think .45, it is perfect in every way. Personally I find no greater beauty than form following function....and you have the perfect example of that. I would keep that one in the family for generations to enjoy!
