My very first 1911

I just picked up my very first 1911 this morning.
It is a RIA Tactical Duo Tone. I very happy with the fit, finish, and overall quality. I had looked at so many 1911's this week and am glad I made the decision to go with the RIA. Out the door with an extra mag, 100rds of ammo, and a Don Hume JIT Slide leather hoslter for 600.00. After cleaning a bucket load of grease out of it I'm off to the range....

Aside from the whole "concealed carry" thing LOL. Best open carry gun hands down tho.

Thanks for all the compilments... It was a pleasure to shoot. I always save my first target with a new gun so here it is. These shots are taken at 7 yards standing using both hands. 5 shot groups.

Group 1-Shoots a little low but good group. Sights adjusted.

Group 2-

Group 3- Always 1...

Group 4- 16 shots one heck of a hole.

Couldn't be happier with my new pistol....
