I bought a new to me Nagant revolver on INGO earlier in the year. When I took it out, every shell was a dented primer, no ignition. The owner hadn't fired in 20+ years, so I'm totally happy with the purchase, no fault on them. They were decent dents, not just a ping. Thinking new firing pin on the hammer and new main spring. Anything else I should be looking at or replacing? I'd rather put in $50 in parts then guess check.

Sitting that long I'm saying it needs a THOROUGH cleaning.
Check springs as well. My guess is junk build up is preventing proper parts movement.

Looked pretty clean inside, but doesn't mean it is. On that thought, I'll do a thorough disassembly cleaning too, but want to tackle all angles before taking the time for a range trip. Thanks!

Firing pin correct length? Not worn? I had read that it's not a great one to dry fire. Maybe the previous owner dry fired the crap out of it? Idk... If primers look dented sufficiently I'd try and find some new ammo first.
