Definitely not true…

Most are just giving their loves from their youth. There is a lot of great music today. Just not on top 100 lists…

That depends on the genre… country? Pretty accurate with a few exceptions, but the grunge and metal music of the 90’s and on is pretty good.

Greatest hit albums are kinda cheating, aren't they? I mean, every song should be 'great'.

I grew up in the cassette era, so skipping songs was harder. I listened to more full albums then. When CDs came along, I can think of very few albums that didn't have at least 1 or 2 tracks I'd skip.

A few that come to mind that I still listen to all the way through...
