Ol' Lady wants a gun with a single stack grip like a S&W 3913 or so. But likes the trigger of my old XD9. So we're looking at 9mm single stacks that are striker fired. Any suggestions?

My wife just picked a KAHR CW9

It's a smaller medium sized gun that's thin and feels good in the hand.
I really like the sights that KAHR uses and the CW series is priced really well also!

So far it seems to be a pretty nice gun, I'm just trying to get past the manufacture's idea that it's ok that you cannot reliably chamber a round by manually racking the slide.

Other than that it seems to be a good choice.

Para Ordnance Carry-9 :yesway:, while it does have a hammer it is bobbed and sits flush with the slide.

Great trigger, 26oz, single stack, reasonable price.

    Kahr PM-9.

I love my Sig P239. Not striker fired (its DA/SA w/hammer), but it (along with other sigs) probably has the best "out of the box" DA trigger on the market.

I think I saw someone selling one here for $550 with 4 mags and extra hogue grips (heck of a deal).

Its at least worth letting her try.
