The other day, I picked up two WWB - 100 round 9mm at Walmart.

I checked it out at home and noticed many of the brass casing had dark spots all over them, and one had a spot of heavy corrosion.

Anybody else experience this? Know why this is happened?

If it shoots, I don't care.

I got a box that had dark spots all over them, wasn't an issue.

Take a picture of the one that corroded though. I'd like to see that.

Copper and brass both tarnish given the right chemical exposure and/or conditions. That's why when I'm loading fresh brass onto strippers for storage, I wear a cotton glove and store them in ziploc bags, just to keep them new. The tarnish will have absolutely no effect on operation, though. It's merely a surface discoloration that will polish right off without even affecting the dimensions. The green bit might do with some more scrutiny, but unless it's more than just a dot, you're unlikely to see more than a barely visible pit after polishing, once again, nothing dangerous.
