According to Brian Williams and NBC News tonight, former president Jimmy Carter's charges that criticism of Obama's policies are based on racism is confirmed by racially tinged posters at the 9/12 demonstration and the fact that white males in the deep south only voted 10% for Obama while the national average was 43%. A clip of Rush Limbaugh was shown as "proof" that criticism = racism. Henceforth, apparently, there is no basis to disagree with Obama based on his mis-guided policies. You are a racist if you disagree. What say you?

This morning on the Today Show, Matt Lauer was doing a segment with a Georgetown University professor and Frank Luntz. The professor I believe was black but he was so light skinned I would not have known for sure (or cared) if I saw him on the street. He assured us that all of this criticism was indeed racism. He also said that it isn't up to the victims to prove it is racism. It just is if they say so, because everything that occurs in American is racial. So apparently they can say anything is racism and there can be no contradicting it. That wold be further racism as well I assume.

What about the many "people of color" who can't stand that jackoff that occupies the oval office or his retarded policies? Uncle Toms?

Or, is it possible, using the same f-ed up logic that these idiots use, that big government, out of control pet pork spending socialism is a race of it's own?

If this is the case than I am proud to be an anti everything they stand for "racist"..

Folks just need to get vocal, and very pointed, about stating the obvious to people who make these accusations: THEY are the racists. Flat out, white hating bigots.

One does not become a racist overnight so, using the parameters of ex-Pres. Jimmy Carter, some if not all those who ran against Obama during the last primaries and general election that were critical of his intents and qualifications must also be racists. Even his own VP questioned his qualifications during the primaries and admitted preferring McCain. I would think that would make Biden the ultimate racist; openly declaring his preference for a white man over a black man because, to quote Biden "the office of the President does not lend itself to on the job training". Obviously he was questioning a black man's ability to run the country....exactly the parameters Carter used as "evidence".
But wait. The Democrats had nothing good to say about Palin. Does that make them sexist?

This is so ridiculous that it is embarassing.

Why am I a racist if I hate socialism? I don't see color, I see facts! I judge based on what you do not on what you look like. I never thought my country would become so dysfunctional! Webster s new definition of a racist is disagreeing with the supreme commander then I am!

    Rasmusen poll
Twelve percent (12%) of voters nationwide believe that most opponents of President Obama’s health care reform plan are racist. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 67% of voters disagree, and 21% are not sure.

In recent days, several Democrats have suggested that racism is a factor. The most prominent to make that accusation is former President Jimmy Carter.

Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans reject the notion that most of the opponents are racist. So do 78% of voters not affiliated with either major party. However, just 39% of Democrats share that view. Twenty-two percent (22%) of those in the president’s party say that most of the opposition to his plan comes from racists, and another 39% are not sure.

I guess you haven't heard the latest. I heard on the radio (don't know the station - not my car) that some guy (missed his name) is trying to claim that - just like homosexuality, racism is inherent - in other words, some people are BORN racist. I wish I had heard his name.

When all else fails blame it on racism. Fortunately for us their tactic won't work.

Yep. That's all they're trying to pull now on Conservatives to try and shut them (us) up.. the race card, when infact, it has nothing to do of the sort.

    Race baiters..

    1) I can't really say what I want to since the MODs would spank me. But it started with the 6th letter in the alphabet.

    2) I am a racist. I hate the entire lot of politicians in DC, male, female, black, white, latino, asian, etc... They have sold us all out!

So how do they explain the many people who voted for Obama and are now saying that they feel they made a mistake.

They must have been closet racists to begin with, in deep denial, even to themselves.
