    So I learned that Richard Engel, foreign service correspondent for NBC was kidnapped in Syria 5 days ago, along with his crew. What stuck me immediately, is that the news people kept a lid on this.....proving that when "its one of their own" they can show restraint. Funny how that doesnt seem to their MO in terms of other important, potentiall "life altering facts", like most of the BS they have spewed regarding say a shooter in CT, his family, schooling, habits, choice of toilet paper, etc. :twocents:

    We are fed what the media wants us to hear. The concept of "reporting the news" has long been dead.
