I have an Arisaka but I am not sure of which model I have. There are certain differences that send up red flags. Are there any gun shops in Indy that can help.

Easiest way to tell a type 38 from a type 99 is by looking to see wether there are 1 or 2 holes drilled into the top of the reciever. Type 99 has 1, Type 38 has 2. A Type 38 is also longer than a Type 99.

    Arisaka identification help

Thanks for the information. I need to replace the bolt that goes through the stock behind the trigger. Any ideas as to where I could get one?
